Fashion Friday: These boots were made for walkin'

Button-up: At Last (old) | Tee: Wet Seal (old) | Jeans: Salt (thrifted) | Boots: Overstock.com warehouse (old)

Everything I had on in this picture is super old except for the watch, which Andrew bought for me on a crazy Woot deal a few months ago. And it's hardly an exciting look.

Still, I have to say that there's something to be said for bootcut jeans. Everyone is rocking skinnies right now, and for good reason. They come in 50 different colors, they tuck into boots and they look great with flats. But sometimes, you just want to wear your favorite pair of bootcut jeans with your motorcycle boots and keep things simple and comfortable.

Just so you know, my pants do, in fact, come down to the bottom of the boots. I am not wearing high-waters. I just wanted you to see the awesome chains and studded details.

I wonder occasionally why I don't actually have a motorcycle. I am totally at home in motorcycle jackets and boots and wear them all the time.

What are your go-to outfits? How would you pull off motorcycle boots?

  4. Thanks for the super sweet message you left me; I'm following you back. I go to Arizona State too, but I am not in Journalism.

I don't have a pair of motorcycle boots, despite my best effort of searching for them. I guess it's because I wouldn't know what to wear them with. A bit too grunge for me.
