It was all yellow

We decided to take a few days off for Jackson Hole and Yellowstone this weekend, so here are just a few of our favorite photos from the trip.

Going up there always makes me a little homesick for Idaho, because memories of going there with my family and spending so much of my life in the surrounding areas come flooding back. I was again struck by the beauty of this area and how blessed I was to grow up there.

We loved touring Yellowstone again and seeing the beautiful fall colors of Star Valley and Jackson, Wyoming, and we're already planning an even longer trip for next fall!

Also, due to the request of a co-worker who wants to see photos of all of the beautiful places in Idaho, Wyoming and Montana that I always talk about when I come home from road trips like this, I'm going to start a travel blog with photos of my favorite spots. Stay tuned for that!

I hope you all get a chance to see Yellowstone if you haven't already. It's incredible, and it makes me so happy each time we visit.

  3. we only just left Rexburg a month ago but I already miss it like crazy. I used to work at a lodge in the Tetons and it was so wonderful waking up to those mountains every morning.
