One of those days

I woke up this morning with the warning signs of a sinus infection (not AGAIN) and dumped out my entire purse and frantically searched the apartment for my keys -- only to call Andrew and realize they were locked in the center console of my car.

Once I had the spare key and was in the car, I got to work 20 minutes late, walked in the door and realized an hour later that I had left the portfolio I'd promised to deliver for a friend in the backseat. I walked the portfolio over to the director's desk, who walked over about a half hour later to tell me she hadn't gotten the job and hand me the portfolio again. Not only did I have to be the bearer of bad news to my friend, but she's on vacation in California until next week -- which means I am stuck with her portfolio, and I HATE having other people's stuff laying around and not being able to return it to them. I have an irrational fear that something will happen to it.

In more exciting news, I won a giveaway on a blog and received this dress today in the mail. I love it, and I'm so excited to wear it on Sunday! Now if only the pounding sinus headache and sore throat would go away. :)
