I never get much of a break working at the grocery store, but I did have two days to spend with sweet little Ellie, her mom (my step-cousin, Becky), and my aunt Susan in Park City, Utah. Here are a few pics from the trip.
The main street of Park City is all uphill and has these tiny little houses that reminded me of San Francisco — no yard, no parking, just a little pointed house.
X marks the spot... of a super cool house that probably costs about $800,000. No, for real.
Ellie was caught a little bit off guard when I snapped her picture.
It's kind of fun to leave town, even just for two days, and even if you have to lug your grandma's sewing machine, quilts, fabric, measuring board and patterns down there because she doesn't get the concept of "getting away."
Notice there are NO pictures of the quilt...
