Pants: Old Navy (sold out, but grey still available) | Cardigan: Cotton On | Flats: Charlotte Russe (old)
Please tell me someone else knows what the quote "polka, polka" is from and I am not getting out of touch with pop culture (though I know I am). Home Alone, anyone? John Candy?
Anyway, that phrase popped into my head when I put this post together because I love the polka dots on these pants. Can't tell? Here's a close-up.
I'm not the biggest fan of patterned denim/leggings. Some of it seems a bit over the top -- especially the bright floral patterns. And I also haven't bought pants from Old Navy in years because they don't fit my body very well. But when we were up in Idaho a few weeks before Christmas with my family, my mom bought me these because they were on a ridiculous sale -- only about $12! You can't beat that, and I love the print and color. It's subtle, but it's still a fun way to be different with your jeans.
Also, I'm still loving the Cotton On cardigans I mentioned in this post. They're comfortable, warm for our freezing cold weather and hold their shape well after washing. So glad I discovered them (or Andrew did, I guess).
Any plans for the weekend? I'm hoping to sleep in tomorrow and try to get rid of my scratchy throat (yep, getting sick again). We've also received about two feet of snow in the last 24 hours, so I'm enjoying being home and watching it fall -- and dreading the time I have to drive in it again.
I can't believe that you have that much snow being only a half hour away.
ReplyDeleteLove the polka dots.
I stayed home this weekend. It was nice to clean, change the furniture around and get lessons together for the new semester.Aaaaah.
I love your jeans!! Definetly better then having crazy patterned pants!! :) So much easier to wear too!!
ReplyDeleteI would try eating marshmallows for the throat! It works :)
ReplyDeleteOoh I really really love that cardigan color! It's super cute.
