On the road again

OK, so I haven't blogged in a few weeks because.... I finally got a new job! I'll be moving to Salt Lake next week to start a job as a copywriter at Overstock.com, which you can check out here.

Here is a (REALLY) bad picture of me in my Broulim's uniform, complete with name tag.

But next week, I will actually be wearing cute clothes again and writing product descriptions in an OFFICE while actually using the skills I developed with my college degree! I am excited to be living in a big city again, but I'm most excited to be living in my own place (well, not right off the bat, but soon) that I can decorate the way I want!

And since I haven't written anything in awhile, have I mentioned how much I love fall? It's my absolute favorite season. I love the pretty fall and orange colors, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE pumpkins, which is why I'm planning to make these gorgeous centerpieces.

Some people say you outgrow Halloween, but you're never too old to wear a funny costume (even if it's just at your house when you hand out candy to trick-or-treaters). So I was ecstatic to find this tutorial for becoming a Yip Yip for Halloween. No one else seems to remember them from Sesame Street!

Well, I'm off to browse more Halloween decorations. I am SO EXCITED. You have no idea.

  4. WOW!!! Fantastic news!!!
Funny thing... we sing the Yip, Yip song at our house occasionally.
"Yip yip you, yip yip me, yip yip baby, yip yip family!" Can't wait for upcoming blogs to see how your grown-up life evolves. I will miss the customer analogies though.
