I walked into the mall on Memorial Day intending to just buy an air freshener for our new car and walked out with this cute new skirt (which was on sale AND on even further clearance), too. While I don't usually wear dresses to work, I wore this all day and was impressed with how comfortable it was. It's lightweight, soft and the perfect length.
If you're wearing a white skirt, even one that's colorblocked like this one, make sure to add a bit of color on top so you don't look washed out. This mint top is fast becoming one of my favorite pieces as well, and it matched the mint of the skirt perfectly.

I went to my kid's graduation event. I saw tiny horizontal stripes on dresses. Is this a passing trend? Please say yes.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I don't think it is. I've seen quite a few people wearing horizontal stripes lately -- though I usually try to avoid them, since they make you look wider. I do have one new dress with horizontal stripes that I like, though. I'll have to post it here. :)
